Interim Healthcare of Lawrenceburg, IN?is seeking a?Licensed Occupational Therapist. Occupational therapy services are provided for treating physical impairments, functional limitations, disabilities and/or changes in physical function associated with a patient?s health status. The treatment and intervention provided is in accordance with the patient?s plan of care, accepted professional standards of occupational therapy practice, applicable law and regulation, as well as Interim HealthCare policies, procedures and clinical pathways.
The Occupational Therapist is needed to work PRN or as needed.
Key Job Responsibilities for the Occupational Therapist:
Assists the physician or other licensed practitioner in evaluating the level of patient function and performance and equipment needs, as well as in developing the resulting plan of care/treatment including appropriate long-term treatment goals, selection of interventions, and the intensity, frequency and duration of services to meet the needs of an individual patient.
Completes initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments at appropriate time points as assigned.
Participates in ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of the patient.
Participates in the development and evaluation of the plan of care in partnership with the patient, representative (if any), and caregiver(s).
Provides services that are ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of care.
Provides interventions and therapeutic treatment in accordance with the physician certified plan of care and occupational therapy professional standards of practice.
A graduate of an Occupational Therapy Education Program
Current License to Practice in Indiana
1 year of Occupational therapy experience in a health care setting
