Position SummaryThe Operations/HR Coordinator is a new position and will be responsible for developing and administering various human resources plans and procedures for all personnel, participating in developing department goals and objectives, and implementing and maintaining CUFFH operational systems. The coordinator will be responsible for carrying out operations, human resources and administrative projects and tasks, and will support the Chief Operating Officer with overseeing day to day operations of employees and the organization. Responsibilities IncludeAssist COO with all Human Resources and Operations related mattersDevelop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and proceduresDevelop and implement strategic recruitment plan, oversee employee benefits, update handbook, etc.Establish and maintain department records and reports; recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect improvements in the efficiency of departments, programs and servicesOversee timekeeping systems and payroll process, including weekly payroll processingIn conjunction with COO, monitor budgets, accounting, cash flow and oversee financial tracking and reporting components of grants and contractsAssist with implementation and establishment of CUFFH 501c4, managing operational and administrative elements of both the c3 and c4 organizations to ensure complianceContribute to an individual work plan and creation of organizational key impact areasParticipate in and provide support to fundraising, organizing and services events as neededCultivate the values of CUFFH within the organization as well as externallyOther related duties as assigned Qualifications2+ years of professional experience in HR, operations, finance and/or office administrationThorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations (NY City and State)Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment Exemplary attention to detail and organization skills are requiredMust exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with senior leadershipProficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Google G Suite is essentialExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with mediation and conflict resolution is a plus, but not requiredWillingness to participate in CUFFH's commitment to social justice
